Hello! My name is Anna. I remember I got my first dog in a McDonald’s parking lot, Chia was her name. Growing up along side that angel instilled a deep love of dogs into my soul. My cat and I moved across the country a few months ago. My three family dogs still live with my mum and I get picture updates of them everyday. But there’s something about the presence of dogs that you just can’t beat!

I’ve worked within the humane society as well as rescued a mistreated dog myself so I know that dogs just need understanding and compassion. Your dogs happiness will always be my top concern as I understand they are your angels.

 Hi, my name is Dani!

Growing up with dogs sparked my love for working with them—and all animals—because they bring me so much joy. Whether they love belly rubs, cuddles, learning new tricks, or simply being a beloved companion, I appreciate each pet for their unique personality.

I’ve cared for my friends’ and sister’s pets, and I regularly volunteer with rescue dogs at AARCS. My experience spans a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments—including some more exotic animals like macaws and chameleons! Since joining Whoa Doggie, I’ve expanded my skills through Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, Playgroups, Training, and Events.

When I care for someone’s pet, I treat them as if they were my own—always ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved. Plus, I provide detailed report cards after each visit, so pet parents never miss a moment of their furry (or feathery, or scaly!) friend’s care.

Hi, my name is Kenzie, I am a dog walker, pet sitter and playgroup attendant for Whoa Doggie!

Growing up, I always had dogs as a part of my family which is what led to my dream of working with them. I have years of experience with several different breeds, ranging in ages, which include golden retrievers, pomeranians, labrador retrievers, Australian cattle dogs (heelers), Australian Shepards, and German shepherds. These experiences have strengthened my knowledge of different temperaments and needs. Although these are the breeds that I am most familiar with, I have a love and passion for all dog breeds. Aside from caring for my own dogs, I have also looked after my friends and family member’s dogs. I truly strive to ensure the health and happiness of all pets under my care.

Hello my name is Victoria, I am a professional Dog Walker & Pet Sitter with Whoa Doggie.

I have previous experience working with animals on my own prior to working with Whoa Doggie as well. My passion in life is being active and bringing animals along with me and I strive to do my best every single day to provide the best care and attention to each animals specific needs. 

I have found that working with animals has given me my purpose in life and I am truly happy with the work I do and the clients and pets I meet in this industry.

I love all animals especially dogs. I grew up with dogs and there is nothing quite like the love we get from our pets, I am very excited to help your fur babies receive even more love and enrichment in their day. Having worked in the mental health industry for 15+ years, I’m excited to venture down this new path with enthusiasm, patience and understanding for all fur babies. I currently own a husky who although a boy is quite the diva.

I enjoy being outside and come prepared for the many different weather conditions Calgary has for us!!!!!

Hi! My Name is Louise Duff and i am just so excited to be a part of the team at Whoa Doggie. Being a pet owner myself, just a cat for now but i grew up with dogs, there is nothing quite like the love we get from our pets and im proud to be part of a team that helps your pets recieve the enrichment and love they need throughout the day as well as at home! 

I am an active, adventurous person and I regularly care for my parents rough collie, Tiggy. We love to go on long hikes and look after the chickens when my parents are away! 

Since arriving in Canada, Originally from England, I have enjoyed pet sitting, walking and training various friends and clients dogs of all breeds. When im not walking or playing with dogs, you can find me on the stage! Ive been performing professionaly since 2018 with the hope of many years to come! I hope that you, your pets, and the team and Whoa Doggie are prepared for some tuneful walks!

I have been around dogs my entire life!  living on a farm in Australia is what led me to discovering my love for dogs. 

I have been around dogs my whole life, I began working with dogs on farms then in the last few years I began dog walking and pet sitting. 

Some breeds I have worked with are border collies, kelpies, Australian cattle dogs, golden retrievers, dash hounds and more! 

I love working with all kind of dogs, from different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities. 

I believe it is important to show your dogs the same amount of love as you would! Ensuring they have the best experience and walks each time. 

Hi, my name is Lorraine and I believe that nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he/she has owned a dog or cat.  I am an active and adventurous mature woman who has been fortunate through out my life to have loved many different types of dogs and cats (Corgi, Husky, Rescues Mixed Breeds, Bullmastiff, German Shepherd, Ragdoll, Tabby, Tortoiseshell and Rescue cats) to name a few.

Earlier this summer my 16 ½ year old Tortoiseshell Birdie felt her time helping me through life choices and support was all she could give me, and we said goodbye.  Working with Whoa Doggie has provided me the opportunity to fill the gap of an empty home and sneak borrowed love from your treasured pet(s).  I am looking forward to providing you and your pet(s) an uninterrupted and constant companionship, exercise and play schedule to allow you a worry-free time break.

Nicole is a dedicated and passionate dog trainer specializing in behavioral training. Her love for animals, especially dogs, drives her commitment to helping them overcome various behavioral challenges. With a deep understanding of canine psychology, Nicole works closely with dogs and their owners to develop tailored training programs that address issues such as anxiety, aggression, and obedience. Her goal is to create harmonious relationships between dogs and their families, ensuring that each dog can lead a happy and well-adjusted life. 

Since becoming a mother, Nicole has discovered a deep passion for helping families navigate the arrival of new members, whether it's a baby or a pet. She specializes in making these transitions as smooth as possible, equipping families with the tools and resources they need to continue the journey confidently. Nicole is committed to setting both dogs and their owners up for success, creating a happy and trusting home environment for everyone involved.

For the past 7 years, Nicole has volunteered  at a dog rescue. Her most recent role being behaviour coordinator. Nicole has an understanding that every dog is unique and therefore requires a customized solution. She is currently enrolled in Thrive Integrative Dog Trainer & Certified Canine Behavior Consultant Apprenticeship Program, and is a student member of the IAABC.
