Established in 2022, Whoa Doggie was created from a vision that pet care should be more than the basics needs, that it could be an enriching experience for you and your pets! Chantelle and Brandy met later in 2022 and quickly realized they shared a dream to provide top-notch pet care and training and began to grow the team and services that make up Whoa Doggie today.
Currently offering mobile services for Dog Walking, Drop-ins, Pet Sitting and Training - we come to you. In collaboration with Mollie's Market are excited to offer weekly Playgroups and Field Trips!
Hi, I'm Chantelle, the Owner/Founder of Whoa Doggie.
Having been in the pet world throughout my life as an owner, a client and a professional I've become passionate about pet care and focused on providing the highest standard of excellence when it comes to our furry pals It was always my dream to spend my days working with dogs, having my start in rescue early on I fell in love with connecting and understanding dogs as the individuals they are. My experiences throughout the years with dogs led me to start Whoa Doggie and create a team with that same passion.
Currently I am enrolled in the Thrive Integrative Dog Trainer & Certified Canine Behavior Consultant Apprenticeship Program, learning and growing my understanding of dogs through a systems approach.
I have been an animal lover as far back as I can remember, this drove me at a young age to work with veterinary clinics, rescues, and pet sitting. Sixteen years ago, I took a step back to try my hand in the corporate world. Although I was very successful, I never lost sight for my true calling – dogs! I started volunteering and fostering again which led me to my goal of being a dog trainer, behaviour consultant, and ultimately to Whoa Doggie!
I hold my Dogma Dog Trainer Certificate, Dogma Certified Behaviour Consultant, and CPDT-KA designations. My training and passion have led me to work and live with dogs with reactivity and fear as well as puppies, giving me real life, hands-on experience with our four-legged companions.

Hi my name is Dani! I have grown up with dogs which led me to love working with them (and other animals) because they make me happy – majority of dogs love scratches, cuddles, learning new things, doing tricks or just being a pet. I have looked after my friends and sisters' pets; as well as I regularly volunteer with the rescue dogs at AARCS. I have interacted with a wide variety of breeds, sizes and temperaments of canines - and I even have experience with macaws and chameleons! Throughout my time with Whoa Doggie I have gained even more experience through Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, Playgroups, Training and Events. When I look after anyone’s pet, I treat them like my own and always send a detailed report card of my visits with your pets.

Hi, my name is Kenzie, I am a dog walker and playgroup attendant for Whoa Doggie!
Growing up, I always had dogs as a part of my family which is what led to my dream of working with them. I have years of experience with several different breeds, ranging in ages, which include golden retrievers, pomeranians, labrador retrievers, Australian cattle dogs (heelers), Australian Shepards, and German shepherds. These experiences have strengthened my knowledge of different temperaments and needs. Although these are the breeds that I am most familiar with, I have a love and passion for all dog breeds. Aside from caring for my own dogs, I have also looked after my friends and family member’s dogs. I truly strive to ensure the health and happiness of all pets under my care.

Hi, my name is Lorraine and I believe that nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless he/she has owned a dog or cat. I am an active and adventurous mature woman who has been fortunate through out my life to have loved many different types of dogs and cats (Corgi, Husky, Rescues Mixed Breeds, Bullmastiff, German Shepherd, Ragdoll, Tabby, Tortoiseshell and Rescue cats) to name a few.
Earlier this summer my 16 ½ year old Tortoiseshell Birdie felt her time helping me through life choices and support was all she could give me, and we said goodbye. Working with Whoa Doggie has provided me the opportunity to fill the gap of an empty home and sneak borrowed love from your treasured pet(s). I am looking forward to providing you and your pet(s) an uninterrupted and constant companionship, exercise and play schedule to allow you a worry-free time break.

Hi, my name is Mikayla,
I have absolutely loved dogs since before I can remember and have been working with them for almost ten years: dog walking, dog sitting, and grooming. I love working with all kinds of dogs: young, old, big, small, energetic, and quiet. I honestly can’t say I have a favorite! My high school had a therapy dog who was a sheltie. I helped train her from a puppy. Some of the breeds I have worked with include: dachshunds, shelties, golden retrievers, mastiffs, bulldogs, labs, golden doodles, and saint bernards. I have worked with puppies and helped to train them, as well as older dogs and everything in between. Being around dogs brings me immense joy; my goal is to do the same for them.
